The Skalni Mlyn Hotel is situated right in the heart of the Moravian Karst National Nature Reserve. In the hotel, there are numerous facilities: restaurant, night restaurant/piano bar, summer terraces, lift, exchange, and other facilities. The 42 hotel rooms have private toilets and showers, and are equipped with telephone, radio, and a TV set (satellite). The hotel has its own parking lot. The surrounding National Nature Reserve makes possible all sorts of relaxation activities. The visitors can choose from 33 kinds of family trips, to the countryside surrounding the hotel. There is an intersection of hiking routes and a nature trail in the close vicinity of the hotel. Not far from it is also the station of road train to the Punkevni Caves. From the Caves, the visitors can continue and reach the Macocha Abyss by cable way. In the complex, there is also the service of bicycles to rent, which is quite important since the karstic valleys are closed to all motorcar traffic. The town of Brno is 30 km from here.

The hotel has two restaurants with with total capacity of 100 persons and a bar. There is a large summer terrace in front of the hotel. The hotel restaurants provide boarding for accommodated groups and also for individual tourists and groups visiting the Moravian Karst.
Congress
The Hotel can organize training seminars, company presentations, parties, and business meetings.
Two spacious seminar rooms for closed meetings can seat up to 20 persons. For larger groups, it can make available its night restaurant, with the seating capacity of up to 40 persons. The restaurant can be blacked out. The seminar rooms are, as the standard, equipped with TV sets, videos, flip charts, and overhead projector.
Other services
The countryside surrounding the hotel offers whole range of leisure activities: renting of mountain bikes, visiting the Punkevni Caves and taking a boat trip on underground river - the Punkva, or hiring the skittle-alley in the near town of Blansko, or going horse riding. The hotel can also organize musical entertainments.
